BORHAN SAZEH MUKRAN Co. is collaborating with Chabahar Free Zone (CFZ) and will be operational in near future.

In line with the development of infrastructure, facilitation of trade, reduction of logistics costs at Chabahar Free Zone, Logistics Park will offer the desired operational and financial efficiency for investors and players in the field of logistics.

This project will assist the process of the development of the city of Chabahar and the CFZ, while enhancing employment and, in line with national policies, tackling deprivation at regional and local level.

While maritime transportation comprises 90% of the transportation worldwide, ports are vital to logistics management. This matter is reflected in the Logistics Strategic Spatial Planning document. There are 4 logistics cities in Iran as the upper level of logistics centers, which 3 of them aside the capital are port cities.

This project is a cooperation with the government and the private sector, deemed as a pioneer in the logistics development of Mukran shoreline and the first project of its kind for Chabahar Free Zone.

It is forecasted to create 7,000 jobs in the construction phase and 1,200 jobs during its operation period. This project not only serves it social responsibilities but it also plays a lasting role in the promotion of human resources and economic growth in the region.

Mukran Logistics Park covers an area of approximately 94 ha and is located at the immediate hinterland of Shahid Kalantary Port.

Mukran’s Logistics Park covers an area of approximately 94 ha and is located at the immediate hinterland of Shahid Kalantary Port. This port is one the closest ports to the landlocked countries of central Asia and Afghanistan and is at close vicinity to the ports of India and Pakistan.

This execution of this project will greatly assist the development of the city of Chabahar as well as the CFZ, create job opportunities and reduce deprivation as delineated at national, regional and local policies. One of its main purposes is to increase Shahid Kalantary’s capacity. Mukran Logistics Park will double the cargo capacity of the port to 1,150,000 tons annually.

Land distribution and functions at Mukran Logistics Park

Multimodal transportation services, loading and discharge, cargo relocation and fleet change, Container Yard, Warehouses and general and specialized refrigerated storage areas, general cargo storage, basic distribution services.

Small cargo aggregation, quality control, packaging, inspection, container loading and discharge, bulk and general cargo operations, cargo discharge, forwarding, repairmen and parking of transportation vehicles, container repairment and maintenance, fuel supply, communication and data services.
